Penguin And Catwoman Rumored For The Batman Villains

With every new announcement and rumor, the cast for The Batman reveals so much about what the movie will be. Matt Reeves's take on Batman hasn't even started shooting yet, and it won't be released until June 2021, but that hasn't stopped fans from getting wildly excited about every new piece of information. The short-haired depiction of the character is consistent to how we've seen Catwoman in a variety of DC comic books, video games, and other projects, and the look certainly looks great on Kravitz. Robert Pattinson revealed in an interview that he hopes the fan frenzy he was met with during his Twilight (2008) days should not be replicated when he turns Batman for Matt The Batman 2021 Reeves' directorial, The Batman.

Tracking down the criminals is a plot thread worth hanging on to - as it's been mentioned explicitly in a recent rumour on Kevin Smith's FatMan Beyond podcast According to the Clerks star, The Batman will be taking cues from The Long Halloween, a famous Batman comic series that involved The Dark Knight tracking down a villain who causes chaos across several holidays.

Kravitz starred in Big Little Lies , one of the most popular HBO series of the past few years, while Dano has made a name for himself as an actor, writer, and director with films like Wildlife. Here are the rumored actors who can be a part of the Batman movie coming in 2021.

And while everyone knows who Batman is and what he does, the reason Batman solo movies exist is to let each actor lay a foundation for their interpretation of the character, like Michael Keaton did, like Christian Bale did, like Adam West did. Fans were always reluctant about the casting choices, as they doubted Christian Bale and then Affleck and the same goes for Pattinson.

Part of what made Michelle Pfieffer's Catwoman so compelling in Tim Burton's Batman Returns was the stark difference in her confidence before and after her villainous transformation, and Steinfeld has shown the versatility to be able to pull that off.

Robert Pattinson will take on the titular role, while Zoë Kravitz will be Catwoman. Eartha Kitt played Catwoman in the 1960s TV series and Halle Berry took on the character in 2004 in Catwoman. It has already been confirmed that Robert Pattinson will be playing the dark knight himself.
